Terms of Service

The service

UFO Tools provides research-oriented tools, evidence-led case reports, a document library, account features, and related content. Features may be added, changed, suspended, or discontinued as the service develops.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorised use of your account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You may use email and password or an available third-party sign-in provider.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• use the service unlawfully or to harm, threaten, or harass others;
• upload or submit content you do not have the right to use;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, data, or systems;
• introduce malicious code or interfere with service operation;
• scrape, overload, or circumvent access or security controls; or
• misrepresent the service’s reports or outputs as conclusive proof.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give UFO Tools a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate and improve the service. You are responsible for your content and must ensure it does not violate law or another person’s rights. We may remove content that violates these Terms or creates risk for users or the service.

Our content and intellectual property

The service, its design, software, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except where the service clearly allows it or the law permits it, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer those materials.

Research and informational use

Reports, measurements, summaries, generated files, and other materials are provided for research and informational purposes. They may contain uncertainty, limitations, or errors and are not legal, medical, financial, engineering, forensic, or other professional advice. You are responsible for independently checking information before relying on it.

Third-party services and links

UFO Tools integrates with Google sign-in and may link to third-party content. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.

Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, UFO Tools will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Liability that cannot legally be limited remains unaffected.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, or misuse the service. You may stop using UFO Tools at any time and may request account deletion by emailing admin@ufo-tools.fyi.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated version here and revise the effective date. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
